Looking towards the future
HM Television began in 2001, when we first began airing in the Province of Cantabria (Spain).
Not only have we been able to reach viewers through our own channel, but we have also been able to air our programs worldwide through collaboration with other channels such as EWTN, ESNE "EL Sembrador, Nueva Evangelización", JN19, and AGAPETV.
After nearly 8 years of faithful service to our viewers, meeting all the challenges we have encountered along the way, we now find ourselves facing a future that will not be easy.
As you may already know, Spain is now undergoing the technological conversion from analogical television to digital television. Each province follows its own pace in the process and in Cantabria, the process for obtaining local "TDT" licenses began this past January 30. The requirements for presenting one's case are very demanding and imply a great economic strain in order to apply for a frequency and then maintain it.
Obtaining one of these frequencies is necessary in order for us to continue on the air.
We will do everything we can to continue working in communications, under our motto: "Yesterday, Today, and Always: the Truth," as we feel the urgent need for the New Evangelization.
We also make an appeal to all those who wish to help us with their prayer and economic support, as small as it may be, so that this work can continue.
