Patrick O'Shea grew up in a Catholic house but never made the faith something personal. When he was 20, Patrick was in a car accident that killed his girlfriend, leaving him with their one-month-old son. Devastated by this situation, he decides to commit suicide. They found him apparently dead, hanged on the stairs of his house. Against all odds, Patrick makes it out of the hospital alive.
