Changing Tracks: Fabio de Miguel (McNamara)

Fabio de Miguel, better known by his psuedo-name 'Fabio McNamara', was one of the first promoters of "The Madridlenian Scene," a countercultural movement in Spain in the 80's, characterized by a recreational use of drugs and new sense of "freedom" represented by music artists and television directors. He had such a huge influence in this movement that Pedro Almodóvar, the most famous representative of this movement, later stated, "We all fed off of Fabio." For him, sin was part of the past. He reached the point that his conscience no longer bothered him. He now admits that, in those moments of his youth, he was Satan's puppet, and he no longer controlled his own will. Satan owned his soul; "I woke up in the morning and thought only about getting drugs and throwing myself on the couch...I perverted so many people with my scandalous way of life." Hear how this famous artist Changed Tracks so dramatically that today he happily exclaims, "Now I receive Communion! What more do I need?"

How can I help?

Thanks to the generosity of our benefactors, up until now we have been able to continue our evangelization through the media. The needs, however, are growing and many times there are unexpected expenses due to maintenance, the purchasing of new machines, etc.
