Some people may have many questions about the sacrament of confession: Why do I need to go to confession? Why is it not good for me to tell my sins directly to God? What is the reason why Jesus instituted confession? In this episode of The Priesthood, Fr. David Howell, a diocesan priest from Southwark, England, answers these questions and more. Using the parable of the prodigal son, he brings us closer to the figure of the merciful Christ, who stands on the cross with open arms, ready to listen to us and to forgive us. Jesus already knows our sins, but he knows that we need to put them into words so that we can free ourselves from them by giving them to him. Fr. David experiences this sacrament as an immense gift that he, as a priest, can offer to souls.

How can I help?

Thanks to the generosity of our benefactors, up until now we have been able to continue our evangelization through the media. The needs, however, are growing and many times there are unexpected expenses due to maintenance, the purchasing of new machines, etc.
