Praying with Mary: Fr. Eddie Boy Fuentes

This week in Praying with Mary we introduce you to Fr. Eddie Boy Fuentes, a Filipino Religious Priest who belongs to the order of the Apostles of Crucified Jesus. He speaks to us about the many graces that enrich us and that come from the intercession of the Virgin Mary when we pray the Rosary. Although he learned this prayer as a child, it became more important to him when he became a member of the Legion of Mary. Praying the Rosary togther with young people, he experienced the true essence and meaning of this prayer.

Praying with Mary: Karolo Ilonga

On Praying with Mary this week, meet Karolo Ilonga, a young priest from Tanzania who shares his experience of finding the way to express all his love for the Mother of God through the Rosary. This prayer brings him peace and deep faith in order to reach God. The Virgin Mary intercedes for us and helps us go on.

This week in "Praying with Mary" we get to know Emily Syverson, a nurse from the United States who is currently in Ireland dedicated to apostolate with the youth. She speaks about Our Lady as a Mother who we can go to to ask for advice, to be able to enter into the Heart of Christ, and to find the necessary strength and courage to be able to say "yes" to God just like Mary did.

Praying with Mary: Matthew Harrison

Matthew Harrison has been a Catholic for two years. In "Praying with Mary," he shares how the Rosary has greatly contributed to his conversion. Growing up as a Protestant, he thought that it was blasphemy to pray to anyone other than the Most Holy Trinity. He began to pray the Rosary as an interior act of obedience to what he felt he should do. Now, it forms part of his daily prayer routine.

Praying with Mary: Benjamin Fenlon

In this program of "Praying with Mary" Benjamin Fenlon shares how Our Lady is like a mother who has led him to Christ and has always nudged him back on the right path. The rosary has helped him to continue in his vocation and allows him to grow more and more in his relationship with Christ. Thanks to Our Lady and the sacramentals, he has been able to witness signs of conversion in the lives of others.

Praying with Mary: Fr. Victor Samugana


Praying with Mary presents Fr. Victor Samugana, priest of the Missionary Society of Saint Paul, from Nigeria. His experience of the consecration to Jesus through Mary according to the formula of Saint Luis Maria Grignion de Montfort has helped him to deepen his relationship with Our Lady. Fr. Victor recommends the rosary to all those who are striving for sanctity and to those who feel the need of protection or a special favor.
